Stopping and disabling the service doesn't fix the problem but now actually prevents Mail from working which probably explains why the component is not seperately uninstallable anymore. I tried an upgrade on the ReadyNas but there have been no updates since I last did it so it looks like the problem hasn't been fixed at the NAS end.
I'd recommend that first you check if your root partition (used to store the NAS firmware and configuration) is full given the "No space left on device" - this is a not uncommon c Using your ReadyNAS in Business & Home / Frontview seems busted, OS reinstall no help; Log In Join Now (my.netgear.com). They can likely rebuild the OS partition and restore the configuration. This is resolved but I can't say exactly how It did *not* work as I still got the same fugly Frontview. I cleared all browser caches again, then - Frontview looks totally crappy, no images, no menu, no buttons, no stylesheets (regardless wether using FF, Chrome or IE) - telnet is not working - ssh is not working (i am not really shure wether it has been enabled before reinstalling the FW So at the moment i am not able to access the data in protected folders.
